ALUCOAT advances on its path to green transition with solar energy
ALUCOAT reaffirms its commitment to sustainability by installing 1,726 solar panels at its factory in Linares (Jaén), making steady progress toward an increasingly green industry.
The installation has a capacity of 949.30 kW and will ensure that 21.4% of the plant’s energy consumption comes from renewable sources.
This project will have a significant environmental impact, equivalent to avoiding the emission of 350 tons of CO2 per year and the planting of 700 trees. It is part of the company’s global strategy to significantly reduce its carbon footprint and contribute to climate change mitigation.
With this investment, ALUCOAT demonstrates its commitment to the environment, people, and the future, fostering a cleaner and more efficient industrial model. The integration of renewable energy not only reduces emissions but also strengthens the company’s social and environmental responsibility, generating a positive impact for current and future generations.
With this initiative, ALUCOAT highlights the adoption of sustainable practices within the industrial sector, showing that industry and sustainability go hand in hand in building a greener and more responsible future for all.
